Hola Kiko,<br><br>Yo en principio pensé en hacerlo aquí en Milán también pero me he echado para atrás porque veo que no me queda tiempo para nada y que en realidad no me puedo comprometer. Pero hacerlo en Madrid me encantaría, y esto que comentas de la PyCon es interesante. Lo de hacer un track paralelo seguro que le gustaría mucho a Frances Alted, porque de esa forma Continuum nos vería con muy buenos ojos para financiarnos, pero por otro lado tener tres tracks me parece demasiado para la primera conferencia. Como mucho uno generalista y otro científico aparte, pero entonces no hay cabida para charlas avanzadas sobre Django, Qt...<br>
<br>Si vemos que esto nos complica mucho la existencia, podemos pensarlo como una suerte de PyDay, SciPy Day o evento reducido para promocionar un poco la PyCon, pero fuera de ella. Esto me lo han recomendado desde muchos sitios distintos y puede ser interesante.<br>

- two days (either on the weekend or during the week, or a Fri-Sat, whatever works with your calendar)<br>
- for about 40 people<br>
- who need a room (preferably with level seating, rather than stadium seating, so that helpers can get to them easily)<br>
- and good wireless<br>
- and coffee :-)<br>
It has two instructors, who:<br>
- need to travel (either plane or train, but since they'll be coming from the UK or Paris, I'm guessing plane)<br>
- and somewhere to stay<br>
We haven't charged for workshops in the past, but are now experimenting
with a small fee ($20) to discourage people from signing up and then not
showing up --- it's up to you if you want to try this.<br>
We have found that workshops are much more successful if they are aimed
at specific communities, e.g., geologists, astronomers, people doing
image processing, etc. --- it makes it easier for instructors to choose
examples, and it's helpful for learners if they know some of the other
people in the room.</i><br><br>Básicamente nos piden un espacio, café y presupuesto para pagar vuelos y hospedaje para dos personas desde Europa. Si se mira con tiempo podría ser relativamente barato. ¿Alguien lo vería interesante de cara a la PyCon? Se podría tener un track paralelo para científicos con un curso muy completo que incluya DVCS, Testing,... (todo lo que no sé usar a pesar de que lo intento).<br>
<br>Si alguien lo ve interesante para la PyCon o si podemos juntar a 20 personas y juntar los gastos para pagarlo podría ser interesante.<br><br>Ya me decís.<span class="HOEnZb"><font color="#888888"><br>
