[python-madrid] ¿Taller de software-carpentry en Madrid?

Hola.

A través de pybonacci nos ha contactado gente (Greg Wilson) de
software-carpentry (http://software-carpentry.org/) para ver la posibilidad
de hacer un taller. Normalmente, estos talleres están destinados para
ayudar a científicos que programan pero no tienen una formación específica
en ello a tener mejores habilidades en programación (con ver cualquier
código que salga de mis dedos lo entenderéis).

Su propuesta dice lo siguiente:

Our basic workshop is:
- two days (either on the weekend or during the week, or a Fri-Sat,
whatever works with your calendar)
- for about 40 people
- who need a room (preferably with level seating, rather than stadium
seating, so that helpers can get to them easily)
- and good wireless
- and coffee :-)
It has two instructors, who:
- need to travel (either plane or train, but since they'll be coming from
the UK or Paris, I'm guessing plane)
- and somewhere to stay
We haven't charged for workshops in the past, but are now experimenting
with a small fee ($20) to discourage people from signing up and then not
showing up --- it's up to you if you want to try this.
We have found that workshops are much more successful if they are aimed at
specific communities, e.g., geologists, astronomers, people doing image
processing, etc. --- it makes it easier for instructors to choose examples,
and it's helpful for learners if they know some of the other people in the
room.*

Básicamente nos piden un espacio, café y presupuesto para pagar vuelos y
hospedaje para dos personas desde Europa. Si se mira con tiempo podría ser
relativamente barato. ¿Alguien lo vería interesante de cara a la PyCon? Se
podría tener un track paralelo para científicos con un curso muy completo
que incluya DVCS, Testing,... (todo lo que no sé usar a pesar de que lo
intento).

Si alguien lo ve interesante para la PyCon o si podemos juntar a 20
personas y juntar los gastos para pagarlo podría ser interesante.
